Motul-backed teams win at 24 hours of Nürburgring
Several Motul-backed teams have emerged victorious in various classes of the recently held endurance race at Nürburgring.

According to Motul, Toyota Gazoo Racing Team Thailand completed 126 laps in its class.One of the crews Motul supported was the Frikadelli Racing Team. The German squad, who took its first victory, competed in the fastest category in the event — the SP9 class.
The team fielded its #30 Ferarri 296 GT3. Taking their turns behind the wheel were drivers Earl Bamber, Nicky Catsburg, Felipe Fernández Laser, and David Pittard.
Frikadelli Racing Team enjoyed a strong start and was able to sustain its car’s pace thanks in part to Motul’s lubricants that allowed the V6 engine to push itself to the limit during the entire race.
“The success of the Frikadelli Racing Team at this prestigious event is yet another accolade that comes as a result of Motul’s commitment to excellence in high-endurance racing,” Motul wrote in a press release.
Meanwhile, returning SP3 champion Toyota Gazoo Racing Team Thailand took its fourth consecutive win after fielding its #119 and #120 Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport cars.
The Motul-backed Asian squad secured a 1-2 finish after completing 126 laps in its class.
“This is proof of success and a worthwhile victory for us. 10 full years from the first day we decided to join the competition, until today, we have never stopped learning. And bring all the experience in this field to improve and make our cars better every year. Defending the championship is not easy because every team that has ever played in this field has always brought their own experience to improve, causing the team to compete more with themselves,” said Toyota Gazoo Racing Team Thailand Director and Driver Arto-Suttiphong Samitchart.
Finally, Subaru Tecnica International found success as runner-up in the SP4T class. The crew’s #114 Subaru WRX STI GT N24 fought hard to take its position in the race and relied on Motul’s 300V lubricant to maintain engine performance throughout the grueling 24-hour race.
