AACI will operate under MPT Mobility Smart Mobility Solutions Division headed by Vice President Mark Richmund De Leon.In a statement, the innovations arm of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) shared that the said move reinforces its commitment to improving the country’s mobility landscape by offering comprehensive technology-based solutions that will address transport and mobility challenges.
Operating since 2011, AACI —wholly owned by AXA Partners Holdings SA — provides subscription-based roadside assistance as well as travel and medical support along with other essential offerings to cater to the diverse needs of clients.
Present during the signing ceremony at the Novotel Hotel in Quezon City are MPT Mobility President Rogelio Singson, MPT Mobility Director Rodrigo Franco, AACI Chief Executive Officer Ronald Carrillo, and AXA Partners Holding SA Chief Finance Officer Silvain Villeroy de Galhau.
“The acquisition of AACI is a win-win for the parties involved and their respective teams. It enables the provision of service to a broader market, including B2C clients; while bringing MPT Mobility a step closer to its goals of providing an expanded mobility ecosystem on improving customer experience,” Franco said.
For his part, Carillo expressed excitement over the developments. "We look forward to coming under the management and guidance of MPT Mobility. With the combination of our expertise and the MPT Mobility capabilities, our clients will benefit from a holistic mobility ecosystem.”
AACI will operate under MPT Mobility Smart Mobility Solutions Division headed by Vice President Mark Richmund de Leon.
Per MPT Mobility, the acquisition also enhances AACI's market position as a leading player in the roadside assistance market while empowering MPT Mobility Corporation to augment its mobility solutions for key urban centers across the country.
