It is the MPT Drivehub mobile app.Where can it be downloaded?
Smartphone users can download it on Apple Store and Google Play.Available for download on Apple Store and Google Play, the MPT DriveHub offers a host of features that will help motorists enjoy every journey along the North Luzon Expressway, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX), and Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).
“After being cooped up in their homes for two years, people are now itching to travel. We see people now going on road trips and we saw an opportunity for us to further elevate the customer experience in our network of expressways through MPT DriveHub,” MPTC Chief Digital and Information Officer Carlo Cagalingan said.
The MPT DriveHub has various digital tools for toll management, trip planning, and roadside assistance to help users conveniently plan trips.
The newly-launched app provides motorists access to its radio frequency identification (RFID) toll account, allowing them to check and reload their accounts as well as compute their toll fees to prepare the credits needed in the tollway.
Aside from that, the MPT DriveHub equips app users with the power of information that will help them plan and schedule their journey. The app shows the pit stops for dining, nature breaks, fuel and shopping stations that can be seen along MPTC toll roads. It even provides relevant traffic advisory and updates.
Further, the newest app allows users to immediately request for roadside assistance anywhere within its network by readily having the expressway hotline number in the app.
“Mobility is not just about moving from point A to point B. It’s about the entire experience of having safety, ease, confidence and convenience. MPT DriveHub will make our motorists enjoy even the pit stops, the hunt for good food, the gas ups — before and during a road trip,” MPT Mobility Vice President for Business Development and MPT DriveHub Head Mark Richmund De Leon said.
Relatedly, MPT DriveHub is eyed to further increase its usage as MPTC expressed its firm belief that “improved mobility is expected to be supported by tech-driven solutions that allow road users to enjoy the journey in its entirety.”
“We believe that technology will play a key role as we drive towards the future of travel and mobility. We will continue to explore more tech-driven solutions that will enable us to further our goal of positively transforming people’s lives by offering them the freedom of journey,” Cagalingan said.
MPTC said that those who use the NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, and CALAX can take advantage of the MPT DriveHub. “Soon, MPT DriveHub will also be available for use in the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX),” the company added.
