Murakami to pass Isuzu PH helm to Fujita
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) announced that there will be a change in leadership starting early next year.

Fujita is a Senior Executive in Isuzu Motors Limited Japan (IML)The company said in a statement that the incoming president, Tetsuya Fujita, will arrive in the country in January succeeding Noburo Murakami. To note, Murakami only joined IPC in May.
Prior to his forthcoming role, Fujita is a Senior Executive in Isuzu Motors Limited Japan (IML) and has more than three decades of experience under IML handling various markets such as the United States and Latin America.
“With his extensive knowledge in both light commercial and truck markets, he is expected to continue Isuzu’s reign as the number one truck brand in the country, which is poised to record its 23 consecutive years of holding this position by the end of the year,” IPC noted.
Meanwhile, the outgoing IPC leader will be assigned to Isuzu North America Corporation to oversee the brand's business in the aforementioned region.
During his term, Murakami was able to maintain the company’s leadership in the local truck market, which is currently at 48 percent, and has strongly led the company in its “Road To Progress” mission.
He also ensured sustainable plant operations for IPC by transitioning 100 percent to renewable energy, as well as continuing expansion and modernization initiatives for its dealer network to cater to a bigger market nationwide.
Murakami replaced Hajime Koso, IPC’s longest-serving president.
