Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) is set to reveal a "new and bold" version of the Jimny next week.
In a statement, the Japanese automaker’s local distributor shared that the nameplate’s upcoming iteration will be unveiled at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).
With such an announcement, Carmudi Philippines is looking at the possibility of a refreshed edition or a new trim being offered in the country.
Per SPH, the “fresh and exciting” version is eyed to “take things even further.”
“Known for its off-road prowess and adventurous spirit, this new Jimny promises to take things even further. Adventure-seekers won’t want to miss this exciting reveal—it's Jimny like you've never seen it before!” the company noted.
However, we are still not disregarding the probability that SPH could also be pertaining to the Suzuki Jimny’s pick-up truck or electrified versions (were reportedly part of the brand’s goals).
Should any of the speculations hold water, it would only mean one thing: the badge’s followers are surely in for a treat.
Meanwhile, the firm also announced that it will showcase a lineup of vehicles and activities that reflect the brand’s dedication to sustainable driving solutions at the four-day event.
Per SPH, “a future-forward concept that will spark curiosity and excitement among those who are passionate about clean, efficient mobility,” will be presented at the event as well.
“Stay tuned for this revelation, as Suzuki hints at something big coming on the horizon,” it added.
In addition, those who would visit SPH’s pavilion at the event can also enjoy test drives as well as fun-filled games and other activities designed for the whole family.
