“The arrival of Vanquish is a seminal moment for Aston Martin, completing the newest and strongest portfolio in our segment and reinforcing our ultra-luxury positioning. This launch toasts the renaissance of our iconic brand and the unique combination of timeless design, craft mastery, and engineering innovation, which defines our new generation of sportscars. Our flagship product, Vanquish embodies our commitment to both ultra-luxury and high performance, bringing Aston Martin to a new generation of drivers,” Aston Martin Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll noted.

Outside, the new Aston Martin Vanquish retains its iconic silhouette but wears new appointments. At the front, it gets a sculpted hood with thermal vents said to have been inspired by Formula 1 cars. Further, it is equipped with an all-new front bumper, fender, and grille design.

Flanking the new fascia are Matrix LED headlights with integrated daytime running lamps.

The side profile of the new Aston Martin Vanquish is highlighted by a set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in bespoke Pirelli P Zero tires. Other notable features include flush door handles and frameless door mirrors.

At the back, the vehicle wears broad and powerful haunches with a Kamm Tail complemented by an integrated deck lid spoiler. All-new LED Light Blades (also worn by the Aston Martin Valkyrie) further accentuate its sport rear.

Rounding up the new Aston Martin Vanquish’s features is a full-width diffuser with quad tailpipes, which according to the carmaker not only looks good but also sounds good.

Inside are standard-issue Sports Seats that can accommodate the vehicle’s two occupants. Customers can opt for the lighter set of Performance Seats for improved weight.

The driver is provided with a flat-bottom, leather-wrapped, multi-functional steering wheel. Past it is a 10.25-inch thin-film transistor driver display accompanied by a 10.25-inch infotainment unit with wireless Apple Carplay.

Per the automotive brand, the new Aston Martin Vanquish is the fourth nameplate from the carmaker to feature the next-generation infotainment unit — which it pointed out — is an entirely bespoke system, and developed in-house from scratch.

The said infotainment unit transfers sound to a Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker, double-amplified surround sound system, which probably would satisfy the needs of audiophiles.

Powering the new Aston Martin Vanquish is a bespoke 5.2-liter, V-12, twin-turbo engine developed by the marque. The house-built powerplant — mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission — can dish out 823 horsepower with 1,000 Newton-meters of torque. It has a top speed of 345 kilometers per hour.

“Vanquish is an iconic halo model for our sports car portfolio and we’re always designing for beyond the expected, rational, and thoughtful. We captured the immensity of its performance and the imperiousness of its intended purpose while tempering the drama of Vanquish with a rare and unmistakable sense of elegance. Our team demonstrated bravery and curiosity in their quest to deliver unexpected design ideas throughout. The teardrop exterior features an all-new surface language and amplified front-engine proportions, and the interior environment combines the focus of a true driver’s car with elevated luxury and state-of-the-art technology,” Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman stated.

“There is great passion in creating pure excitement, and this new Vanquish is a culmination of fearless creativity and human ingenuity. We have combined next-level, ultra-luxury performance with British-cool sports car styling to deliver a crowning Aston Martin V12 flagship for the ages,” he added.

The new Aston Martin Vanquish is limited only to 1,000 samples.

“Delivered with scarcity, Vanquish will be Aston Martin’s highest-performance sports car in its core product line-up, and its most exclusive, with production limited to no greater than 1,000 examples per year. Unique in this portfolio, Vanquish is the sole model to feature a bespoke, Aston Martin-developed 12-cylinder engine,” the company wrote in a press release.

“Revived for the first time since 2018, this will be the third Aston Martin generation to be christened with the famous Vanquish nameplate. The original V12 edition launched in 2001 has played a prominent on-screen role in cinema, driven by James Bond in the 2002 film Die Another Day and making appearances in other films of the 2000s such as Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and The Italian Job. Now it steals the spotlight once again,” it added.
