Taking off from the success of the Peugeot 3008 SUV and Peugeot Traveller MPV, Peugeot Philippines makes the much-awaited Peugeot 5008 seven-Seater SUV available in select dealerships. Enhanced Modularity and Space

Inside the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV is a spacious cabin for both second and third-row passengers. Second-row occupants can enjoy longitudinal adjustments to maximize legroom and even recline the seat backrest angle for optimum comfort on each of the three independent seats. Third-row occupants can also enjoy generous levels of leg and headroom. "In designing the Peugeot 5008 SUV, no details have been spared, including allowing ample space in the third row. We want all passengers to have the same level of comfort as is standard with our vehicles," Dasig explained. When not in use, the third row can be folded and stowed easily, creating an impressive boot space of 962 liters. Removing the individual third-row seats further expands the rear capacity to a total of 1,060 liters.

An Elevated Driving Experience

Peugeot's widely-acclaimed iCockpit makes its way to the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV as well, elevating the entire driving experience. A heightened driving position, compact steering wheel, and a fully-digital dashboard and control panel come together to create the perfect combination of dynamism and technology. "The look that our engineers wanted to achieve in the design of the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV cockpit is one that is both futuristic and intuitive. We spend a significant amount of time inside our vehicles that is why we have made a lot of effort into perfecting the driver’s cockpit," Dasig said.

In addition to the iCockpit, the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV boasts of intuitive driving aids that provide convenience in any situation. The equipped Visiopark 2 system provides the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV with a clear 360-degree view of its surroundings when parking. The Park Assist feature found in the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV also makes maneuvering a simple task. "Peugeot’s Park Assist technology makes difficult parking a thing of the past. All you need to do is activate the Park Assist feature, and the vehicle takes care of the steering with you just controlling the pedals,” Dasig said.

Efficient and Dynamic Perfomance

Powering the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV is a 1.6-liter Turbo High-Pressure petrol engine, also found in the petrol variant of the Peugeot 3008 SUV. "The decision to match our midsize SUV with a 1.6-liter petrol engine comes from the highly efficient power delivery we have witnessed in the Peugeot 3008 SUV,” Dasig said. Combining agility and fuel efficiency in a large vehicle is one of the unique traits of the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV. Peugeot's Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2) also provides the all-new Peugeot 5008 SUV with a light frame that further reduces the vehicle's weight and fuel consumption while increasing overall responsiveness. This results in the perfect balance between comfort and road handling.
