Next-gen Jeep Compass teased

Jeep has teased the arrival of the next-generation Compass.

The American carmaker released a photo showcasing the silhouette of the compact sport utility vehicle, revealing a sculpted exterior.

Based on the picture, (see photo above) the next-generation Jeep Compass appears to wear linear bodylines complemented by angular accents. From the top, one can notice its roof rails as well as what could be trims on the rear side of its flanks that might give the impression of a floating roof.

Down below are chunky wheel arches and beefy door claddings, signaling its possible outdoorsy nature.

According to the Stellantis-owned company, the next-generation Jeep Compass will be built on the flexible STLA Medium platform, thus offering various multi-energy propulsion systems once it hits dealerships.

On that note, Jeep sees the next-generation Compass as a vehicle that will deliver “affordable capability, top performance, and advanced technology.”

Filipino fans of the Jeep brand are no strangers to the Compass nameplate.

It has been once offered locally in a sole Longitude variant.

Power came from a 1.4-liter MultiAir gasoline engine, which generated some 159 horsepower with 250 Newton-meters of torque.

Notably, the Jeep Compass that was sold here in the country came with a set of 18-inch polished aluminum wheels and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
