The much-anticipated next-generation Ranger Raptor will be showcased and ready for test drives at the initial leg of the forthcoming Ford Island Conquest (FIC) 2023.
Ford Philippines said that its experiential program (now on its sixth year) will immediately put to the test the aforementioned pick-up truck by customers themselves at the specially-designed off-road track at the ARCA South Interactive Park in Taguig City — a day after its scheduled debut in the country.
“We are so excited that the Ford Island Conquest is back, and that on its first run this year, the public can check out and test drive our full line-up of next-gen vehicles headlined by the next-gen Ranger Raptor,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen said.
“Apart from the next-gen Raptor, the 4x4 outdoor track is definitely a spectacle that we want everyone to experience together with our next-gen Ranger and Everest. FIC is always a much-awaited experiential roadshow and we are delighted to bring Filipinos a leveled-up test drive experience this year,” he added.
The aforementioned model was previewed at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023.
While the version headed to the North American market is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 gasoline engine, Carmudi Philippines is still banking on the possibility that the local-spec Ranger Raptor will be equipped with 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel mill.
Aside from the upcoming Ranger Raptor, Ford Philippines is also urging clients to check out the other offerings like the Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 and Everest Titanium+ 4x4, 4x2 variants of the next-generation Ranger and Everest as well as the recently-launched Territory.
Further, exclusive deals will be accorded to buyers who will reserve and purchase the next-generation Ranger, Everest and Territory during the three-day event.
To note, the FIC has a mock-up showroom display where the public can learn more about the vehicles and their respective ownership packages. Customers can also learn more about the next-generation Ford ownership experience with offerings and services such as five-year warranty, Fordpass, Pickup and Delivery, and Express Service, among others.
Additionally, the FIC’s first leg for the year will be open and free to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning May 19-21.
It was last year when FIC returned as an on-ground event. It has generated more than 1,200 reservations during the seven legs held in various locations in the country, including over 2,600 test drives.
