Nissan 370z now in PH to turn ‘adrenaline rush fantasies’ into reality

Nissan Philippines adds yet another exciting, fun-to-drive vehicle to its line-up as it officially announces the availability of the 370z in the local market.

To complement its bigger sibling, the Nissan GT-R, the Nissan 370z will be offered—starting this month—in Premium and NISMO variants.

To note, the Nissan 370z made its first appearance in the country back in 2012, back when the brand had two distributors—Nissan Motors Philippines Inc. (NMPI) and Universal Motors Philippines (UMP).

Propelling the Nissan 370Z Premium is a 3.7-liter VQ37 DOHC V6 engine that can dish out more than 327 horsepower and pull with 363 Nm.

This monster of an engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or seven-speed automatic transmission with SynchroRev matching system, Magnesium Paddle Shifters and Downshift Rev Matching feature.

To keep up with the engine's beefy performance, the 370z has sport-tuned shock absorbers, Nissan Sport Brakes, Limited Slip Differential, and a Carbon Fiber Composite Driveshaft.

On the outside, the Nissan 370Z retains its sports car image with its low roofline for better aerodynamics and short wheel base for better handling.

The overall appearance is complemented by 19-inch Rays forged alloy wheels, dual exhaust outlets, and a rear spoiler.

For its interior, the Nissan 370z exudes a driver-centric design with its four-way power adjustable seats, triple meter, eight-speaker Bose audio, push start and stop button, and sports pedals.

The 370z Nismo is made a little bit sportier than the Premium variant, thanks to its NISMO design front and rear bumpers, side sills, rear spoiler, door mirrors, Recaro Sport Seats and Alcantara leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as NISMO red tachometer and the iconic NISMO badge.

The Nissan 370Z NISMO has a higher output, with power rated at more than 339 horses and 371Nm torque. This comes only with a seven-speed automatic transmission with Black Magnesium Paddle Shifters. Equipped with a NISMO-branded strut tower brace and performance dampers, the offering is targeted to have an enhanced body rigidity and better handling.

Nissan in the Philippines President and Managing Director Atsushi Najima expressed pride over their latest vehicle offering.

“Indisputably, the Nissan 370Z is one of the most beloved vehicles for enthusiasts in the world, and now it’s here. The Nissan 370Z provides a truly authentic Japanese sports car experience to our customers. We cannot wait for our Filipinos to enjoy ultimate rush driving experience as we enter the new normal,” Najima said.

Nissan was supposed to have the Philippine launch of the 370z back in April but the COVID-19 rained on everyone’s parade, which resulted in the rescheduling to this month.

The Nissan 370Z Premium is priced at P2.779 million (manual) and P2.879 million (automatic), while the Nissan 370Z NISMO is retailed at P3.888 million in select dealerships nationwide.
