The Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept will be showcased at the upcoming Japan mobility Show.According to the Japanese carmaker, the Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept is aimed at “individuals who appreciate the finer things in life and enjoy the company of friends and associates, whether on a road trip or business outing.”
Noticeable are the concept vehicle’s smooth body panels and sharp character lines that according to Nissan, demonstrate traditional Japanese beauty.
Eye-catching is its sleek flank that flows diagonally from the front to the rear fender. Not only does its side profile offer a modern-looking design but also adds higher aerodynamic performance to the modern mover.
Additionally, it flaunts a white waistline, which serves as its headlight and signature lamp. Further, the kumiko-patterned wheels and the soft, straight body line create a premium feel beyond the concept’s class.
Inside, the Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept boasts a spacious interior. Its overhead console and lighting feature traditional Japanese kumiko and koushi patterns that create a sense of luxury. Meanwhile, the concept vehicle’s flat LED panel on the floor displays imagery of a riverbed and the sky, helping to create a relaxing space where technology and nature are fused.
The Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept also comes with the latest in automotive technology. Featured is the Nissan EV Technology Vision, which consolidates compact components and high-energy density all-solid-state batteries to create innovative car packaging.
Moreover, the said concept vehicle is outfitted with the brand’s e-4ORCE all-wheel control system for smooth and flat acceleration and deceleration.
The Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept is also capable of fully autonomous driving, which is why it is equipped with swivel seats at the front. Toys for the rear passengers include a wearable headset to view and operate the navigation and audio on the front-seat center display.
Also, an innovative artificial intelligence system can monitor its would-be owners’ biometric signs — including brain waves, heart rate, breathing, and perspiration — and automatically select complementary music and adjust the lighting to fit their mood.
The Nissan Hyper Tourer Concept will be on display at the brand’s booth at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.
