The upcoming Nissan Nismo Z will not be offered with a third pedal based on the order guide posted on the New Nissan Z forum.
Per the photos from said post, both the “Sport” and “Performance” variants of the 2024 Nissan Z can be had with either a nine-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox but the Nismo version is left with just a nine-speed automatic.
The said post received mixed reactions — some expressing disappointment while others are saying that despite losing some level of connection with the car, an automatic transmission is best for extracting the most amount of performance for the Nismo-badged Z.
One member even shared a Twitter post revealing that eagle-eyed fans noticed that the Nissan Nismo Z driven by three-time Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg for the teaser video — which you can check out here — appeared to use an automatic transmission.
Nevertheless, should the leaked order guide be true, those looking to get the 2024 Nissan Nismo Z could expect the car to be offered in five exterior colors (one solid and four two-tone) with an interior trim with what we believe to be Alcantara accents.
Accompanying accessories, per the order guide, include Z center caps, exterior welcome lighting, Nismo dual racing stripes, a floormat package, and an illuminated kick plate, among others.
According to Nissan, further information about the Nismo Z will be released later in summertime (from March to November) of 2023.
