Nissan launches Note Aura in Japan
Nissan recently launched the Note Aura in the Japanese market as a part of the company’s electrification strategy under the “Nissan Next” global business transformation plan.
The all-new Note Aura will be using Nissan’s e-Power electrified powertrain that generates a maximum system output of 100kW (134hp) and 300Nm of torque.
Outside, the Note Aura will come with an elaborately sculpted front grille and front bumper flanked by LED combination headlamps with adaptive function. The lighting setup at the front includes LED position lamps, accent lamps, and sequential turn lamps.
It will also have an elongated roofline that extends to the rear spoiler with high-mount stop lamps. The Note Aura will ride on 17-inch lightweight aluminum wheels with gunmetal resin inserts.
According to Nissan, the Note Aura will come in 14 color options with five two-tone combinations.
Inside, are Zero Gravity seats which can be had in either a Herringbone patterned tweed-like fabric combined with synthetic leather or a high-quality genuine leather with specially designed pleating, which the carmaker says can provide comfortable seating grip.
Although the Note Aura is a modern compact car through and through, Nissan opted to add a classic touch in the interior design. The lower instrument panel and center console feature a wood-grain finish. Door trims, front armrests, and the instrument panel are all finished in tweed-like fabric.
To elevate the owner’s in-car audio experience, Nissan developed a premium audio system with Bose. The Bose Personal Plus sound system speakers can be had as an optional add-on.
The Nissan Note Aura is available in two forms: G (FWD) and G Four (AWD). The G trim uses Nissan’s EM47 motor which sends power to the front wheels while the G Four adds the carmaker’s MM48 motor giving it additional power from the rear.
Retail price for the G model is ¥2,610,300 while its upscale G leather edition counterpart sells for ¥2,699,400. On the other hand, the G Four model has a sticker price of ¥2,868,800 with the high-end G Four leather edition sporting a ¥2,975,900 price tag.
