Nissan opens dealership in Valenzuela
Nissan in the Philippines recently welcomed its latest addition to the growing dealer network as its newest facility rises in Valenzuela City.
The Nissan Valenzuela dealership also is the first in the country to don the Japanese carmaker’s new logo. In fact, it would be the first in the ASEAN region to be built with with the new logo design.
Situated along MacArthur Highway, the 1,000-sqm dealership features a 23-sqm façade, and its showroom is capable of displaying five units. Aside from that, the dealership houses four service bays ready to serve customers.
Nissan in Valenzuela is under AutoSpeedyGo under the helm of its Chairman, Dexter Co and Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer Vincent Licup—the same group that opened the Nissan Caloocan dealership and Nissan Marilao, and took over the brand’s largest facility, Nissan North Edsa.
In an interview, Licup said that expressed pride over the establishment of the new dealership.
“Our group takes pride in this new look for a Nissan dealer, it’s the first of this modern look and new logo in ASEAN. We finished this amid the pandemic as our commitment to the Nissan brand, to our employees and most important, to our customers,” Licup told Carmudi Philippines.
“Our vision to personalize our customers' car ownership journey especially in the north Metro Manila was achieved by Nissan Valenzuela. You practically can buy your Nissans anywhere in the north of NCR— EDSA Quezon City, Caloocan, Marilao and now Valenzuela—knowing that superb after-sales facilities and expertise are available anywhere among the four,” he added.
The new logo, shown in July last year, is said to reflect Nissan’s vision while “staying proudly connected to the company's rich heritage and tradition of innovation.” The automaker retains its company name at the center of the logo, “communicating an instantly recognizable brand that evokes past milestones and memories while also conveying evolution.”
Nissan Philippines President and Managing Director Atsushi Najima explained that the new logo “signals the evolution of Nissan.”
“Now appearing in our newest dealership in Valenzuela City, this marks the latest chapter in our commitment to make the brand more accessible to more people in more areas in the Philippines through dealer expansion," Najima was quoted as saying.
Further, established Nissan dealerships such as Nissan Mantrade Makati, Nissan Shaw, and Nissan San Fernando recently redesigned their facilities to adopt the new logo.
