Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) moved the start of the reservation for the recently-launched Z.
During an event today, NPI President Juan Manuel Hoyos said that the pre-order books for the Japanese sports car will be opened in mid-October.
To note, the reservation for the all-new Nissan Z is scheduled to begin today — as announced during the model’s official launch.
Hoyos explained that the reservation has been deferred as they are still ironing out the mechanics with the Department of Trade and Industry.
Following the announcement, Hoyos apologized to its customers for the delay.
Powering the much-awaited Nissan Z is a 3.0-liter turbo gasoline mill that can dish out 400 horsepower and 475 Newton-meters of torque. The aforementioned mill is mated to either six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed automatic transmission with manual mode — depending on the variant.
In addition, the all-new Nissan Z features improved suspension and brakes system, as well as rear view monitor, a digital dashboard on Sport Mode, and front and rear sonar sensors.
Likewise, the vehicle comes with Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as forward crash warning, intelligent cruise control, anti-lock braking system and traction system, an advanced airbag system, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
Retailed in Ikazuchi Yellow, Passion Red, Everest White, Boulder Gray Pearl, Seiran Blue, and Black Diamond Pearl, the all-new Nissan Z is priced at P3.888 million.
