MANILA: Nissan Philippines today launched the latest iteration of the Patrol full-size sport utility vehicle (SUV).
Competing with the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser, the all-new Nissan Patrol offers a rugged yet refined ride for car buyers looking for an up-market option that can answer their daily motoring needs.
Here’s a quick look at its notable features.
At the fore is a bold fascia with a wide three-dimensional V-motion grille. At the middle sits the Nissan emblem resting on a long chrome bar. To its sides are C-shaped full-LED headlights with automatic function. It is clustered along with LED daytime running lamps and LED fog lamps.
Linear strokes give the side profile of the all-new Nissan Patrol a stable and solid stance. These are reinforced by large and boxy windows as well as wide running boards and roof rails. A set of 20-inch, two-tone, machine-cut, alloy wheels shod in 275/60 radial tires contributes to both its looks and impressive ride height.
At the back, the SUV gets a large glass, a roof-mounted spoiler with a third brake lamp, LED taillamps, a very legible “PATROL” script, and bumpers with reflectors on each side.
Inside the all-new Nissan Patrol is a leather-wrapped steering wheel with multi-functional, leather seats, and leather trims on the dashboard, the door cards, and the center console.
Facing the driver is a 14.3-inch full thin-film transistor instrument cluster. It is complemented by a similarly sized (14.3 inches) infotainment screen. The latter has wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto as well as Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Audio is blasted to a 12-speaker Klipsch premium sound system with DIX virtual surround sound technology.
Those sitting in the second row will get features like a pull-down center armrest with cup holders and two 12.8-inch screens with Miracast, HDMI, and USB connections.
Other notable cabin amenities include the following:
Under the all-new Nissan Patrol’s beefy hood is a 3,492 cubic-centimeter, twin-turbo, V6 gasoline engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with push-button electronic and paddle shifters.
According to Nissan Philippines, the said setup makes as much as 425 horsepower with 700 Newton-meters of torque.
