Nissan in the Philippines has posted teaser photos for the upcoming model, which is presumably the latest version of the Almera.
As seen on the website, Nissan Philippines is now inviting customers to book their test drives for the forthcoming offering. “Be the one of the first to test drive it. Reserve a test drive slot now,” the website encouraged.
According to the information shared to Carmudi Philippines, Nissan in the Philippines will be introducing the latest version of the subcompact sedan — which has been in neighboring countries Thailand and Malaysia for quite some time already — by next month.
There is not much information that was shared in the website post, except for the fact that the soon-to-be launched compact sedan will have a turbocharged powertrain.
Some two years back, Carmudi Philippines reported that the local distributor is “already in the planning stage” of bringing the newest edition of the Almera and might take more than a year before being released here.
To note, the forthcoming launch follows the local introduction of the latest iteration of the Nissan’s sports utility vehicle, Terra.
