Two years after receiving updates, the Philippine-spec Nissan Urvan has just been spruced up anew.
According to Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI), the van’s latest iteration has boosted its suite of safety technologies by fitting the vehicle dynamic control as standard across all trims.
The Japanese automotive manufacturer’s distributor in the country claimed, the aforementioned technology “redefines the standard for family vans and fleet vehicles.”
Per NPI, the feature — which was once available solely to the Premium variety — enhances the vehicle’s stability and handling during abrupt maneuvers or adverse road conditions by monitoring and adjusting engine power and brake applications.
The feature complements the existing suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features that include high beam assist, auto headlamps, and auto-dimming rear view mirror, as well as the safety technologies such as anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist (installed on all variants), and six airbags (equipped in the GX and Premium options).
"The Urvan has proven to be a reliable vehicle for the transportation needs of Filipinos, and we are happy to introduce these changes to further enhance its safety," NPI President Juan Manuel Hoyos said.
The 2024 Urvan is already available in all Nissan dealerships nationwide at the following prices:
