Nissan Philippines is set to unveil the latest variant of the Navara at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).
Based on the media invite sent to Carmudi Philippines, the Japanese marque’s local arm said that the visitors of the highly-anticipated auto show in the country will be able to see the limited-edition Calibre-X at the four-day event, along with the rest of its local lineup.
Much as we wanted to share more details about it, Nissan has yet to provide the specifics about the nameplate’s limited-run trim.
However, since it is just a new variety, the Nissan Navara Calibre-X is expected to wear a 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine and several Nissan Intelligent Mobility features like the intelligent around view monitor, hill descent control and hill start assist, among others.
Relatedly, Nissan will likely showcase the features of the Nissan Leaf and its vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology as well as the next-generation e-POWER technology that is set to be launched in the country within the year.
Further, Nissan Philippines newly-hailed president Juan Manuel Hoyos will likely grace the event.
To replace Atsushi Najima starting April 1, Hoyos will be reporting directly to Nissan ASEAN Regional Vice President for Marketing and Sales Isao Sekiguchi.
Hoyos was one of the two executives that presented the Nissan Ariya Single Seater Concept late last year.
