The powertrain combination that can be found in the incoming model could be a 1.5-liter gasoline powertrain matched to either a five-speed slushbox or a four-speed automatic. How many all-new Nissan Livina variants are to be offered in the country?
A source told Carmudi Philippines that the all-new Nissan Livina will be available in three variants.Based on the invite sent to Carmudi Philippines, the Japanese automaker’s distributor in the country is set to present the all-new Nissan Livina on Tuesday next week (September 6).
“Nissan Philippines is introducing a new and reliable family car geared to provide all-around comfort to every adventure!” the invite stated.
To note, the aforementioned model — alongside the Serena — was launched in Indonesia back in 2019. If the forthcoming Nissan Livina would have the same specifications as its neighboring country, then customers could expect a 1.5-liter gasoline powertrain paired to either a five-speed slushbox or a four-speed automatic. The power mill combination can deliver as much as 104 horsepower and 141Nm of pulling power.
On the outside, all-new Nissan wears the company’s signature V-Motion grille in the front but all around, the model has many notable similarities with its sibling from another brand, the Mitsubishi Xpander — one of which is the shared tail lamp design.
Further, a source told Carmudi Philippines that the all-new Nissan Livina will be available in three variants.
NPI is expected to reveal more details such as features and pricing about the model in the coming days, but all we can be sure about at the moment is that it will be priced competitively since it would be rivalling the likes of the Xpander as well as the Toyota Avanza.
It can be recalled that around a decade ago, one of Nissan’s then arm in the Philippines offered the Grand Livina, which snowballed the segment’s popularity in the local market.
