The company allotted P150 million for the project. In a statement, the toll operator said that the P150-million project, which is aimed at mitigating the risk of flooding in a 640-meter portion of SCTEX Dinalupihan, is halfway through and is expected to be completed within the third quarter of 2022.
“We are always on the lookout for solutions that can help improve the reliability and safety of our roads and other structures. It also improved the expressway’s drainage system in Valenzuela in 2015 and 2021 to mitigate flooding. The projects involved the construction of a pumping facility and a sump at the southbound, and replacement of concrete-made drainage covers to more steel gratings at the northbound side.
