Valenzuela City's other access points to the major toll road are found in Karuhatan, Mindanao Avenue, Paso de Blas, and Lawang Bato.The new entry point to the major northern toll road features a 491-meter ramp that is anticipated to help alleviate the flow of traffic in the City of Valenzuela, particularly in the barangays of Lingunan, Veinte Reales, Lawang Bato, and Paso de Blas.

Approximately 32 percent, or 5,255 vehicles, out of the 16,421 motorists who drive along the highly-congested Paso de Blas Road-East Service Road Interchange are expected to use the new southbound entry point, which was finished one month early from its original completion date.
Earlier this month, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and NLEX Corporation, together with government partners and agencies, inaugurated the NLEX Lingunan Southbound Entry.
Leading the recent opening ceremony were Valenzuela City Mayor Weslie Gatchalian, Toll Regulatory Board Regulation Division Chief Joz Carlos Ordillano, and NLEX Officer-in-Charge and MPTC Chief Finance Officer Luis Reñon.

The new Lingunan Southbound Entry is the 5th entry access of Valenzuela City to the expressway. Others are via the following entry points:
- Karuhatan
- Mindanao Avenue
- Paso de Blas
- Lawang Bato
