PGA Cars announced the arrival of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT in the country.
In a statement, the Philippine distributor of Porsche vehicles said that the model that holds the fastest lap record for a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in the legendary Nürburgring track is being offered for bespoke client viewings at Porsche Center Philippines showrooms.
The company said that the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT “rounds off the Cayenne model range as its sporting hero.”
“The latest model is set up for maximum performance and handling, and combines outstanding driving dynamics with the capability to be driven daily,” PGA Cars shared.
The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT is powered by a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 power mill matched to an eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission that is capable of dishing out a peak of 631 horses and 850Nm. It can go from zero to 100kph in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 300kph.
Available in four-seater coupe configuration, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT comes with all chassis systems fitted as standard, as well as performance tires developed specifically for the model.
To note, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT was able to lap the 20.832-kilometer Nürburgring Nordschleife with a time of 7:38.9 minutes.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT features passive chassis components and active control systems re-engineered and optimized for handling and performance. Its three-chamber air suspension was engineered to be more rigid, as well as the Porsche Active Suspension Management damper settings and Power Steering Plus and rear-axle steering application have been adapted accordingly. The Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control active roll stabilization and Porsche Traction Management systems operate with performance-oriented control software.
The vehicle sits on 22-inch Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Providing the stopping power is the standard-fit Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system.
Further, the record-holding crossover wears a unique front apron, enlarged side cooling air intakes, contoured carbon roof, black wheel arch extensions, and 22-inch GT Design wheels in Neodyme. Apart from that, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has carbon side plates that are fitted lengthwise to the roof spoiler and a carbon diffuser panel.
Moreover, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT has premium standard equipment such as the 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats in front, a sport rear seat system, and multifunction sports steering wheel, as well as the latest Porsche Communication Management that is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
