Oil companies to implement big-time price cut this week
Oil firms in the Philippines will reduce the prices of their products at the pump anew — the third for the month of August.

The movements in pricing will become effective starting tomorrow (August 13).As advised, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil are set to cut down the retail price of gasoline products by P2.45 per liter and diesel by P1.90 per liter.
Aside from that, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall implement a P2.40-per-liter slide on kerosene.
The aforementioned movements on the pricing will be implemented starting tomorrow (August 13).
Last week, companies slashed P0.10 per liter on gasoline products, P0.20 per liter on diesel, and P0.45 per liter on kerosene. The week prior to that, gasoline already decreased by P.075 per liter, diesel by P0.85 per liter, and kerosene by P0.80 per liter.
