Oil companies to increase pump prices amid ECQ extension
Even if the enhanced community quarantine in the National Capital Region Plus bubble the second time around has been prolonged up to April 11, 2021, oil firms are set to increase prices starting tomorrow.
Based on their respective statements, Caltex, Petron, Pilipinas Shell, Cleanfuel will be upping gasoline prices by P0.65 per liter.
Aside from that, Caltex, Petron and Shell will also implement a price hike on diesel by P0.05 per liter. However, Cleanfuel said it will be retaining its diesel price.
Pilipinas Shell will also increase the price of kerosene by P0.05 per liter.
Last week, oil firms rolled back the price of products, starting with P1.30 per liter reduction on diesel, P1.20 per liter on gasoline products and P1.40 per liter on kerosene prices at the pump.
Back in March 23, fuel firms imposed a rollback of P0.35 per liter on diesel and kerosene by P0.45 per liter.
