Fuel companies jacked up the price of diesel by P13.15 per liter, kerosene by P10.50 per liter and gasoline by P7.10 per liter last week, the biggest yet for 2022.Local fuel players finally have announced that they will be implementing a price rollback on all products at the pump tomorrow (Tuesday, March 22).
Based on their respective advisories, Petron, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil Philippines, PTT Philippines, as well as Total Philippines will trim down the price of gasoline products by P5.45 per liter and on diesel, P11.45 per liter.
Aside from that, numerous oil firms are also reducing P8.55 per liter on the price of kerosene.
The adjustment on the retail price follows the Department of Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi’s announcement last week that the retail price might drop after the per-barrel prices of petroleum products went down last week.
