Oil firms opens 2023 with more than P2/L increase
Oil companies in the Philippines have implemented a price hike of more than P2-per-liter, marking the first adjustment for 2023.

Based on their advisories, retail prices of gasoline products shall go up by P2.90 per liter, diesel by P2.10 per liter, and kerosene by P3.05 per liter.Based on their respective advisories yesterday (Monday, January 2), Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil are expected to raise the pump price of gasoline products by P2.90 per liter and diesel by P2.10 per liter today.
Meanwhile, a P3.05-per-liter has been added to the retail price of kerosene.
The movement on the aforementioned products' retail prices started at 12:01 a.m.
Last week, the price of gasoline went up by P0.95 per liter, and kerosene by P0.50 per liter.
