Oil firms to implement major price rollbacks ahead of anticipated ‘traffic exodus’
MANILA: Local oil players are set to implement hefty price cuts this week — ahead of the anticipated traffic exodus in time for the Holy Week.

The movements in pricing will take effect on April 15.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall slash the following amounts on their respective pump products:
- Gasoline: P3.60 per liter
- Diesel: P2.90 per liter
Those that offer kerosene at the pump will cut down P3.30 per liter.
The adjustments will take effect tomorrow.
Last April 7, the aforementioned firms rolled back the price of gasoline by P0.10 per liter and kerosene by P0.50 per liter.
