Oil firms to raise pump prices anew
Fuel companies in the Philippines will continue the string of price hikes at the pump for the last week of August 2023.

Some local players will implement adjustments on pump prices as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (August 29).Based on their corresponding advisories today (August 28), Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron, and Unioil are set to add P0.70 per liter on the retail price of diesel and P0.30 per liter on gasoline.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also jack up the price of kerosene by P0.80 per liter.
Other oil companies are expected to follow suit.
The upcoming adjustment — the fifth consecutive increase for the month of August alone — for some of the aforementioned fuel companies will take place at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.
Last week, the pump prices of gasoline products went up by P1.10 per liter, diesel by P0.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 per liter.
