While it has yet to celebrate its first anniversary, Omoda is already enjoying a strong following globally.
This, after the brand has reached its 100,000-unit sales milestone around the world.
Currently, Omoda is present in over 10 countries in Southeast Asia, Europe, Australia, and South America. Its official entry in the Philippine market is expected to be within the year.
Last month alone, the company was able to retail 16,686 vehicles worldwide — showing a 6.04-percent increase in a month-on-month comparison.
It was in the middle of August when Omoda 5 and Omoda 5 EV received the “Best Test Drive Sport Utility Vehicle” award at the Indonesia International Auto Show. Aside from that, the model’s internal combustion engine option had undergone testing in Costa Rica.
In Spain, the Omoda 5 served as the official vehicle for the “2023 ITF W100 Disa Gran Canaria Women's International Tennis Championship,” offering transportation support for the participating teams, and showcasing “unparalleled driving quality.”
Relatedly, Omoda and Jaecoo for Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe General Manager Jeff Liu and Country Director for Philippines Marco Chen shared to journalists in a recent roundtable discussion in Wuhu, China that they shall provide efficient aftersales support to its would-be market in the country.
