Per Omoda, the brand will officially launch in the Philippines by the end of the year.During the opening ceremony of the said Eco Ride, Omoda signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), which links multiple resources to exert greater potential and contribute more to environmental protection.
To note, its parent company Chery also recently formed a partnership with IUCN.
The Eco Ride took participants — which included the brand’s customers, partners, and members of the media — around the natural “oxygen bar” of Wuhu — the Shen Shan Park.
Upon reaching the finish line, the carmaker noted that those who took part in the event were awarded specially customized commemorative medals and were recognized as pioneers in Omoda’s green and active lifestyle ecosystem.
Per Omoda, the said Eco Ride was themed New Journey, New Life — Ride Green Life and was aimed to “utilize the influence and power of the Omoda automobile brand to instill low-carbon awareness in more people and lead a new trend of green living.”
That said, Omoda’s Eco Ride was seen as not just an event but also an attitude.
On that note, Omoda co-created a “low-carbon fashion flash mob” to reflect its steadfast pursuit of green development. The said low-carbon, active lifestyle force — Omoda pointed out — will propel the automobile industry onto a longer and further road of sustainable development.
The automotive brand believes that with a commitment to sustainable development, it will bring an upgraded driving experience and usher in a new era of green travel.

This includes using environmentally friendly materials and advanced technologies, continuously strengthening its technological innovation capabilities, actively promoting the implementation of pure electric technology, ensuring that all vehicle series have corresponding new energy products, and intensifying efforts in intelligent technology to lead the future automotive ecosystem.
In the Philippines, Omoda is set to make its mark by the end of the year. In fact, the local arm of the Chinese brand already confirmed that the first batch of Omoda cars have landed in the country. The said vehicles is expected to be used for previews and pre-launch activities.
