Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, expressed its appreciation for medical and economic frontliners, who are all considered modern-day heroes, through a discount on the Forester.
For the month of July, frontliners, essential workers, and their family members are exclusively entitled to an extra P20,000 discount on the Forester 2.0i-L EyeSight with Superview Around Recognition (SAR) 360, MIP said.
To avail of the special offer, customers need to present a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, an Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ID, or company ID, whichever is available.
Subaru will honor all frontliners and essential workers defined according to the national government’s existing classifications, MIP said. The following frontliners are:
MIP added that essential workers or their family members who either walk in a Subaru dealership, or book an appointment with a Subaru sales consultant, will receive Subaru merchandise upon arrival at the showroom.
They will also get another premium Subaru item upon their completion of a test drive of any Subaru model, MIP said.
The Forester is powered by a two-liter flat-four Boxer engine, which produces 156hp and 196Nm of torque.
The Forester's SAR360 gives a 360-degree view of the car's surroundings when parking.
