Past, present, future: Here’s what to enjoy in the Mitsubishi PH 60th-Anniversary Expo
Today marks Day One of the Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation’s (MMPC) 60th-Anniversary Expo, being held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

MMPC’s 60th-anniversary expo will run from today, August 10, to Sunday, August 13.Serving as a treat for car enthusiasts of all ages are the host of automobiles coming from MMPC’s past, present, and future roster.
Welcoming dads and titos (uncles) are iconic global Mitsubishi nameplates like the Colt Mirage and Starion.
Also in attendance are local icons such as the Mitsubishi “box type” Lancer, L300 Versa Van, and the Galant — fondly called in the Philippines as “pating” (shark).
Mitsubishi’s rally-bred machines, which echo the brand’s heyday in motorsports, including the Lancer Evolution III, Lancer Evolution VI (Tommi Mäkinen Edition), and Lancer Evolution IX, are on display at the event.
Two automobiles, considered as pillars of today’s local sport utility and pickup truck segments (Mitsubishi Pajero and L200), are also showcased.
Making up Mitsubishi’s current lineup in the country are models such as the Mirage (hatchback), Xpander Cross, and Montero Sport.
They sit alongside their siblings, the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Xpander, and Strada.
Spearheading MMPC’s future offerings are the XRT Concept (which will be called the Triton upon launch next year) and the XFC Concept (which now bears the name XForce in Indonesia).
Aside from the cars on display, MMPC also offers test rides for its current models and booths that showcase the capabilities of its ever-reliable workhorse, the L300.
Families visiting with kids can also have their little ones play in the adventure area while dads wanting to bring home souvenirs can check out the die-cast section or the Ralliart kiosk.
MMPC’s 60th-anniversary expo is a four-day event that will run from today (August 10), till Sunday (August 13).
