Petroleum Companies Cut Pump Prices by at least PHP2 per Liter
Petroleum companies have rolled back by at least PHP2 per liter the average price of petroleum products this week, marking the eight straight week of fuel prices going down since mid-October.
Unioil was the first to announce that it was cutting its pump prices by PHP2.20-2.30 per liter for diesel with gasoline following suit by PHP1.90-2.00 per liter.
Other petroleum companies soon followed with their respective roll backs which took effect earlier today, December 4, at 6:01 AM.
Last week's rollback of PHP2.30 per liter for diesel was the biggest for that particular type of fuel, while for gasoline, the PHP2.30 per liter cut on November 13 was the largest so far.
