Peugeot introduces refreshed 108 city car
French automobile company Peugeot has given its popular city car, the Peugeot 108, a refresh.
According to the automaker, the 2021 updates will add a new look and will drop the three-door variants, keeping the 108 in a five-door body style across all available trims which include Active, Allure, and Collection.
In addition, Peugeot said that the compact city car will have two new color options, Ural White and Galaxite Grey, which will be replacing the old Bianca White and Carbon Grey body paints.
The Peugeot 108 in Collection variants will feature body-colored door handles and 15-inch “Thorren” alloy wheels paired with orange center wheel caps.
Peugeot also adds that the Collection models will feature the new Orange Maya Line Jusa trims with Yellow Sun stitching and that models in Smooth Green or Calvi Blue paint options will feature a new cabin ambiance reflecting the exterior paint color.
The Active variant of the Peugeot 108, on the other hand, will continue to offer White Line Jusa interior trims and a Charcoal Grey option, while Allure variants will also offer an additional Gloss Black center console.
“We are excited to be introducing the latest changes to our 108 range. With new colors and interior ambiances, the 108 remains a stylish city car. Now offered exclusively as a five-door variant, the 108 is suitable for drivers wanting to travel with friends and family,” said Peugeot UK Managing Director Julie David.
All the 108 models will continue to be powered by the brand’s RDE2-compliant, 1.0-liter three-cylinder S&S engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
The pricing for the Peugeot 108 will start at £13,320.
