PGA Cars now offers Lamborghini Revuelto
Lamborghini has commenced its push towards electrified mobility in the Philippines by bringing the Revuelto to the market.
Per Automobili Lamborghini Asia-Pacific Region Director Francesco Scardaoni, the vehicle — which is the brand’s first-ever super sports hybrid plug-in HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) — “represents a significant milestone in the history of Lamborghini and an important pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy.”
“This iconic V12 HPEV delivers performance with its exceptional dynamism of electric torque vectoring and permanent four-wheel drive, ensuring the Revuelto expresses its amplified qualities both on track and in daily driving,” Scardaoni explained.
“We are thrilled to present the Revuelto, our super sports V12 hybrid plug-in flagship that creates the perfect balance between enhanced driving emotions and reducing emissions to Lamborghini’s customers and fans in the Philippines,” he added.
Powering the vehicle is a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with three electric mills (one of which is connected to the new double-clutch eight-speed gearbox). The electric motors are mated to a 4,500 watts per kilogram lithium-ion high-specific power battery.
Provided with seven drive modes (Recharge, Hybrid, Performance, Città, Strada, Sport, and Corsa), the Lamborghini Revuelto’s powertrain set-up can dish out more than 1,000 horsepower — allowing the vehicle to accelerate 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 2.5 seconds, hit 200 kph in less than seven; and go up to 350 kph.
In addition, the powertrain boasts electric torque vectoring and four-wheel drive available in fully-electric drive mode. Its fully-exposed longitudinal mid-engine is directly connected to the hexagonal-shaped exhausts.
Facilitating stops and deceleration are the latest generation Carbon Ceramic Brakes Plus (10-piston front, and four-piston rear) system.
For its aesthetics, the Lamborghini Revuelto establishes a new styling while keeping the marque’s DNA.
It maintained the vertically-opening scissor doors, carried the Diablo’s proportions, as well as the Murciélago’s beefy front but brought out an aerospace-inspired design language.
Called the “Space Race”, the vehicle sports two-lined sculpted surfaces in the front, cabin and engine.
Aside from that, it is outfitted with a monolithic carbon-fiber hood, headlamp clusters with Y-shape daytime running lights framed by aerodynamic blades that link the splitter to the hood.
The Lamborghini Revuelto sits on bespoke Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires with run-flat technology.
For its cabin, the Lamborghini Revuelto is equipped with a carbon-fiber profile, with a “space-ship” design that confines the central air vents, and three digital displays (12.3-inch instrument cluster, 8.4-inch central display, and a 9.1-inch display).
It is also fitted with a steering wheel similar to the Essenza SCV12 — with the four rotors located on the spokes used for selecting driving modes as well as the car’s lifting system and rear wing tilt.
Its upholstery combines leather with Corsa-Tex fabric in Dinamica microfiber, made of recycled polyester via a water-based production process. Clients may opt to have the interior modified by choosing for a balanced mix of leather and Corsa-Tex, or favor one material depending on the preference — with 70 color options available.
The Lamborghini Revuelto offers 26 millimeters (mm) more headroom and 84 mm more legroom compared to its Aventador Ultimae sibling.
Technology, options
Further, the car is Amazon Alexa-ready and has an integrated over-the-air software update system.
Included in its host of features are the driver assistive such as active lane departure warning, lane change warning, adaptive cruise control, rear cross traffic alert.
According to the Raging Bull marque, the Lamborghini Revuelto is a production Lamborghini model that offers the most potential for personalization — including 400 color options (all water- based instead of the usual solvent-based).
