MANILA: PGA Cars has brought to the Philippines the latest iterations of the Audi Q7 and Q8 to mark its aggressive start for 2025.
The spruced-up full-sized sport utility vehicle (SUV) offerings under the Ingolstadt-headquarter marque boasts substantial updates in the form of design upgrades, advanced illumination and digital operating systems — among others — that complement its internal combustion engines and performance-related features.
“As we mark our 20th year of delivering Audi models and services that befit the progressive status of the brand, we are launching the new Audi Q7 and Q8 to represent the start of Audi's bold product offensive this year. The introduction of these models yet again demonstrate our unwavering commitment to continuously provide consumers with vehicles that come in a diverse selection of powertrain options, distinct performance characteristics, and innovative features unmatched by any other brand in the domestic premium segment,” Audi Philippines Head Benedicto Coyiuto said.
Here’s what customers will have with the new Audi Q7 and Q8.
The largest model in the Audi roster, the new Q7 is 5,072 millimeters (mm) in length; 2,212 mm in width; and 1,748 mm in height — with a 3,005-mm wheelbase and up to luggage space of as much as 1,993 liters.
Its revised aesthetics is made up of a Singleframe grille with octagonal patterns arranged by vertical inlays, huge air intakes, reformed tailpipes, as well as special add-ons placed on the front bumper, door trims, and diffuser.
The new Audi Q7 wears an all-LED exterior illumination system consisting of high-intensity matrix headlights with dynamic turn signals, daytime running lights, and distinct taillamps that have improved clarity and contrast. This complemented the 20-inch cast aluminum wheels in five-spoke twin design and cabin trim with matte brushed aluminum inserts.
Giving the seven-seater model a more athletic look is its Black Styling package and the new two-dimensional Audi rings logo in Polar White.
Inside the spacious new Q7 are the updated Audi virtual cockpit and MMI system, a Bang and Olufsen premium audio system, four-zone air-conditioning, and ambient LED interior — together with individually-adjustable middle seats and electronically-foldable rear chairs.
The new Audi Q7 is now powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder TFSI gasoline mill — replacing the 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine seen in its predecessor.
Its powertrain can dish out 340 horsepower (hp) and 500 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the vehicle's quattro permanent all-wheel drive system, which allows it to sprint 100 kilometers per hour (kph) from rest in 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kph.
Assuring the vehicle’s stability and furthering comfort is its adaptive air suspension with controlled damping.
Meanwhile, the new Audi Q8 measures 5,004 mm long; 1,995 mm wide; and 2,190 mm tall — with a 3,004-wheelbase and a 1,755-liter luggage space.
The SUV coupe’s newest offering is fitted with a grille pattern similar to the new Audi Q7, familiar air intakes and gloss-black pieces, thanks to its S line Exterior Package combined with the Black Styling package. Aside from that the brand logo at the fore comes in Polar White instead of a chrome finish. Tailpipes and a light strip spanning the entire width of the vehicle are the new Audi Q8’s noteworthy portions.
Further, the vehicle rides on 21-inch cast graphite gray aluminum wheels in 5-V spoke design.
Fitted inside the new Audi Q8 are, an enhanced Audi virtual cockpit and MMI touch response system, a Bang and Olufsen premium audio system, and multi-configurable ambient LED interior lighting package four-zone automatic air-conditioning with the air quality package.
It is also tailored with silver gray trimmings with diamond finish inlays, extended interior elements in leather, seats wrapped in a combination of perforated Valcona and Cricket leather as well as illuminated S line door sills with aluminum inserts.
Just like the Q7, the new Audi Q8 is propelled by a 3.0-liter turbocharged TFSI V6 gasoline mill matched to an eight-speed tiptronic gearbox.
Similar performance-related technologies found in the Audi Q7 that is also in the new Q8 are the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system and the electronically-controlled air suspension system with adaptive damping.
