PGA Cars to launch all-electric Audi Q8 e-tron

PGA Cars is set to bring in the Audi Q8 e-tron to the Philippine market this week — expanding the distributor’s new-energy vehicle (NEV) lineup further.

The announcement of the official reveal — set on August 4 — came from an invite accorded to Carmudi Philippines.

Globally, the upcoming model comes in two body types: the Sportback and sport utility vehicle version. With the official local introduction of the Audi Q8 e-tron, the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer will fortify its armada of purely electric vehicles in the country to four (or even more).

To note, Audi Philippines is already offering the e-tron GT and the RS e-tron GT.

Per Audi Philippines, the launch of the latest models — which makes the company that provide the widest selection of 100-percent electric vehicles — is in line with Audi’s global electrification strategy.

The forthcoming line sports the new two-dimensional four-ring logo on its singleframe grille as well as the new badge on the B-pillar.

In addition, the company boasts that the new all-electric Audi Q8 e-tron models feature improved efficiency and range.

According to Audi Philippines, both battery capacity and charging performance have been increased — allowing for an optimal balance between energy density and charging capacity.

Further, the Philippine-spec Audi Q8 e-tron models have upgraded motors, progressive steering, and chassis control systems that lead that guarantee dynamic driving characteristics.

Aside from the vehicle launch, Audi Philippines will also hold the Audi Driving Experience from August 4-6 at the 30th East B Open Parking in Bonifacio Global City.
