Prior to the commencement of the official retail, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton Athlete has already received a price slash.
In contrast to what the company has announced last year, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) shared that the pick-up truck offering's top-of-the-line option will be priced at P1.909 million — P6,000 cheaper versus the P1.915-million price tag that was revealed in October 2023.
However, the Japanese automaker’s local distributor will retain the previously-shared pricing on all other variants of the forthcoming model that is set to replace the Strada nameplate within the month.

Sporting a bolder look with its square-shaped grille, new headlight design while retaining the Dynamic Shield Design, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton is one of the models that helped the global marque receive honor from the Good Design Award 2023 from Japan Institute of Design Promotion.
Further, Mitsubishi’s upcoming model comes with a larger bed (2,340 millimeters (mm) long, 1,580 mm wide, and 515mm deep) and lower bed floor height (821 mm) versus the soon-to-be-replaced model.
The company claimed that the vehicle is more comfortable than its predecessor, thanks to its enhanced suspension design with new shock-absorption system and a roomier cabin.
Power from the all-new Mitsubishi Triton's 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel engine can go as high as 201 horses and 470 Newton-meters of pulling power.
The vehicle comes with forward collision mitigation with pedestrian detection, and object detection, with the top-of-the-line version fitted with the additional rear cross traffic alert and multi-around view monitor. This helps the model earn a five-star from the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP).
Further, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton shall be retailed in seven body color options namely White Diamond, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, White Solid, Yamabuki Orange, and Blade Silver.
