PH oil firms to drop pump prices by at least P1.20/L this week
Oil companies have announced that the prices for its products at the pump will go down by more than P1 per liter this week, halting the straight hikes within the month of March.

Oil companies shall cut down the pump price of diesel by P1.85 per liter, gasoline products by P1.20 per liter, and kerosene by P2 per liter.Based on their respective advisories today (Monday), Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil are set to reduce the retail price of diesel by P1.85 per liter and gasoline products by P1.20 per liter.
Apart from that, many of the aforementioned firms shall trim down the price of kerosene by P2 per liter after implementing a P0.60-cutdown on the same product last week.
Other oil firms are expected to show similar price movements.
The adjustment on prices will begin at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (March 14).
Last week, local oil players raised the price of gasoline products by P1 per liter. However, the pricing of diesel slid down by P0.10 per liter.
