Being offered in two variants namely medium wheelbase (with a 14-15-feet deck length) and the long wheelbase options (16-18 feet), the latest commercial vehicle offering allows operators and owners more options and flexibility to meet the needs of their respective businesses.
The Hyundai HD45 GT Shuttle’s overall cab length is 6,401 millimeters (mm) and is 2,124mm tall, which can easily carry 26 passengers — making it a good choice for ferrying employees. Its side entrance makes it easy for passengers to board and alight the vehicle.
Powering the Hyundai HD45 GT Shuttle is the D4CC turbo direct-inject Euro 4-rated diesel engine that has a peak churn of nearly 158 horsepower and 392 Newton-meters of pulling power.
In addition, HARI said that customers of the new vehicle can take advantage of its hauling capabilities as its gross vehicle weight is only 4.49 tons — noting that it remains exempted from the truck ban.
“Already a popular choice as a hauler for fast moving consumer goods, agri-industrial products, and construction material, the HD45 GT Shuttle MPV meets the growing demand for employee shuttles among private and government enterprises at the fraction of the price of your regular mini-bus,” HARI shared in its press release.
Further, the vehicle is packaged with the basic warranty (depending on the body builder/manufacturer) as well as the Hyundai three-year or 200,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) cab-and-chassis warranty.
