Nissan Philippines Incorporated (NPI) has just launched the mid-cycle refresh version of the Almera — and made the subcompact sedan more technologically-advanced compared to the previous iteration.
The Philippine-version of the new Almera now comes with NissanConnect Services technology, which is the brand’s integration of smart features aimed to elevate the driving experience and assure connectivity for Filipino motorists.
A segment first, NissanConnect Services was developed to keep drivers connected and in control providing convenience, safety, and entertainment at your fingertips. The technology is seamlessly integrated with one's smartphone, giving access to a range of smart features such as remote engine start/stop, door lock/unlock, automatic collision notification, SOS emergency call button, car finder, and theft alert, among other features.
“The New Nissan Almera represents our unwavering dedication to innovation and exceptional driving experiences. From its captivating design and exhilarating performance to the groundbreaking NissanConnect Services, the Almera sets a new standard in the segment. We are excited to introduce this remarkable vehicle to our customers, bringing them a new level of excitement and connectivity," NPI President Juan Manuel Hoyos said.
In addition, the car's newly-launched iteration comes with a bold and dynamic design language as expressed by the sleek lines, sporty stance. Its front fascia has been updated — dropping the huge V-shaped grille in exchange for six slim horizontal chrome bars at the fore. The fog lamps' housing also gets slimmer housings too.
Just like the outgoing iteration, the new Nissan Almera continues to offer a roomy and refined cabin, thanks to the premium materials, ergonomic seating, and intelligent features.
Since it is a mid-cycle refresh, the New Nissan Almera is still powered by the potent 1.0-liter turbo gasoline engine that delivers exhilarating performance and fuel economy.
