Full-electric offering expected to be available in dealerships in November 2024
Retail operations for the Chery eQ7 in the country will begin within the final quarter of 2024.
According to United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated Group Managing Director Froilan Dytianquin, the model will be sold locally by November this year.
Below are some details about the soon-to-be-available offering Chery Auto Philippines (CAP).
Showcased at the Manila International Auto Show 2024 last April, the Chery eQ7 has a modest design complemented by the active grille system (which closes or opens depending on the running conditions) and thin front illumination system above the projector-type headlamps.
Making the vehicle lightweight is its all-aluminum body structure and its fluid body line allowed it to have a 0.31 wind drag coefficient.
Propelling the the vehicle is a single-speed permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that can dish out a peak output of around208 horsepower and 285 Newton-meters of torque.
The aforementioned powertrain is paired with a 67.12 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery that offers an emission-free range of 512 kilometers. It has an IPX9K waterproof grade.
It interior is mainly covered with white leather appointments tailored on the seats and center console and is fitted with a dual digital cluster and infotainment system that are both 12.3 inches wide as well as a dual-zone air conditioning system that purifies recirculating air inside the cabin.
The arriving offering is expected to wear a price tag of around P2 million.
