Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) is eyeing to give customers in the country a “unique driving experience” with the forthcoming GX3 Pro.
In a statement, the Chinese automaker’s local arm said that the aforementioned subcompact crossover will serve as the company’s commitment on providing motorists and car enthusiasts with top-of-the-line vehicles that blend performance, style, and affordability.
Per Geely Philippines, the vehicle is outfitted with the same engine found on the Emgrand subcompact sedan, which can deliver as much as 102 horsepower and 142 Newton-meters of torque. The company also confirmed that the model has at least two variants (S, which is in five-speed manual and Comfort that has continuously variable transmission).
Other features that can be found in the arriving model are the cruise control, reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, back-up sensor, and traction and stability control (found on the Comfort option) and reverse camera with dynamic guide lines and back-up sensor (equipped in the S trim).
In addition, the Comfort variant comes with a sunroof.
Per Geely Philippines, the GX3 Pro’s starting price is at P778,000.
Relatively, the firm announced that it will also hold test drive events in key cities in the country following the scheduled launch on August 8, to allow Filipino car enthusiasts, and potential buyers to get a firsthand feel of the GX3 Pro.
