PH-spec Hyundai HD78 GT gets new body option

Aside from giving Hyundai HD45GT an additional body option, Hariphil Asia Resources Incorporated (HARI) also expanded the offerings under the HD78 GT as well.

 Korean marque’s truck distributor in the Philippines has launched the Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier in its bid to serve the sector that has been experiencing consistent rise in sales since 2020.

Per HARI, the Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier has numerous features that will help those who want to capitalize on their businesses.

The Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier’s extra-long wheelbase variant can accommodate up to 24 motorcycles as its deck length can reach 5,944 millimeters (mm) and has a payload capacity of 3.9 tons. To note, the vehicle is also offered in medium (deck length of up to 15 feet) and long wheelbase (18 feet) formats.

It also comes with a rigid, high-strength ladder frame chassis that can take on heavy cargo as well as punishing road conditions and a cross-member reinforcement that resists twisting and bending.

Further, the vehicle has anti-collision door beams and sturdy rust-proof steel cab and frame that can dispel the impact on the sides and front.

Additionally, the new offering features a built-in power take-off system that channels power from the engine to make auxiliary equipment work, allowing for the operation of a hydraulic lift.

Powering the Hyundai HD78 GT Motorcycle Carrier is a 2.9-liter turbocharged diesel engine with intercooler that can dish out a peak output of 158 horses and nearly 393 Newton-meters of pulling power.

Moreover, the truck’s air-conditioned cabin is fitted driver-friendly amenities.

According to HARI, the latest option in their lineup comes with a basic warranty (which varies by body build/manufacturer), and a Hyundai three-year or 200,000-kilometer (whichever comes first) cab and chassis warranty.
