Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) is set to bring in the sixth-generation Santa Fe by next year.
HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete made the announcement today, saying that the midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) will be officially introduced in the Philippine market come first quarter of 2024.
The forthcoming offering was previewed in two color options: Ocado Green Pearl and Terracotta Orange. Both sporting the 2.5T HTrac badge, the showcased models are powered with 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engines.
Further, the nameplate's forthcoming generation wears more chiseled silhouette compared to the outgoing version flowing design.
In addition, the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe units displayed at the event come with H-shaped head- and tail lamps, as well as C-pillar handles. It also sits on 21-inch wheels wrapped with 245/45 Kumho Ecsta tires.
The SUV’s interior boasts a panoramic curve display at the dashboard, a bi-directional multi-console, and a pair of wireless charging docks within the class-leading cabin space.
Hyundai Motor Company shared in an earlier statement that the new model has a versatile interior that “flows from the openness of its enlarged tailgate, providing users with a terrace-like space.”
Per HMPH General Manager for Sales Victor Vela, the fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe is outfitted with a myriad of safety and convenience technologies. However, the Korean automotive marque's local arm has yet to provide specific details about the incoming model.
