PH-spec Toyota Vios roster back to 6 trims, 2 engine options

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has brought back the 1.5G variant to its Vios roster — bringing the number of options back to six.

The said variants’ comeback in the lineup expanded the subcompact sedan’s engine lineup to two again — the 1.5-liter 2NR-FE and 1.3-liter 1NR-FE. The former can do 106 horsepower (hp) and 140 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque while the latter, around 98 hp and 123 Nm.

The Toyota Vios G options are offered in five-speed manual gearbox (priced at P979,000) and continuous variable transmission (P1.039 million) variations.

Further the two returning options are outfitted with an eight-inch infotainment system mated to a six-speaker set-up and can be had three color options: Grayish Blue Mica Metallic, Super Red V, and Black 1.

To recall, it was early last week when the said Toyota Vios variants can no longer be spotted at the company website.

Relatedly, the Toyota Vios GR-S and E variations (which were reportedly removed last January and late last year, respectively) have yet to come back in the local lineup.
