PHOTOS: The Vehicles at the Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit 2019
The future looks bright and electrifying as numerous manufacturers are bringing to our shores their various offeringss for sustainable and greener mobility. For one, the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) is targeting to upgrade some 200,000 public utility jeepneys over the next six years. In the said project, manufacturers are offering either an electric-powered model or one that runs with an eco-friendly Euro 4 diesel engine.
You can find some of these vehicles--as well as a few for the private sector--at the Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit 2019, organized by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP), which runs until today only at the SMX Convention Center in the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.
