Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach recently acquired a Mini Cooper Countryman using the gems she collected in the social media website Lyka.
Mini Philippines Marketing Manager Mae Angelie Valdez said that the beauty-queen-turned-actress picked up her own Mini Cooper Countryman S Sport, saying that it was Wurtzbach’s first Mini purchase.
“She bought and paid for the unit using Lyka gems,” Valdez shared to Carmudi Philippines.
Through the app, Wurtzbach paid a total of 3.85 million gems to bring home the Mini Cooper Countryman S Sport. Valdez noted that the unit has a price tag of ₱3.85 million.
But to give everyone an idea, reports said that it is very difficult to reach the said number of gems since posting a photo can only give the profile user 0.05 gems. Should you give a “max rating” to other account users can give you 0.02 gems and if you receive also a max rating for your photo, you can earn 0.05 gems.
Together with Valdez, who received the former Miss Universe at Mini Alabang dealership, were Mini Philippines Genera Manager Jefferson Lizardo, Mini Alabang General Manager Erick Tanael, Lyka Gems Sales Head Victor Tabisaura and Mini Alabang Sales Consultant Bernard Honrejas.
“We’re happy to welcome the latest member of our Mini Family—Ms. Pia Wurtzbach! Getting your dream Mini has never been easier as we now accept Lyka Gems as payment. Message us to know more or visit https://secure.mini.com.ph/mini-online-showroom/mini-garage-sale/ to find the Mini that best suits your style,” Mini Philippines stated in its social media post.
Powering the five-door Mini Cooper Countryman S Sport is a four-inline, 2.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission that can provide a peak output of 192 horsepower.
