Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe sold for P67.16-M in auction

Porsche announced that a unique 911 Classic Club Coupe sold for US$1.2 million (approximately P67.16 million) at an auction in the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, United States.

From the outside, the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe wears a Sport Grey Metallic paint with light grey and blue accents. Additionally, it dons a double-dome roof, a set of Fuchs rims, and a fixed rear spoiler that echoes the ducktail style of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 from 1972.

Inside, the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe boasts an intricate Pepita houndstooth pattern in woven leather, that can be found on the center panels of the sports seats and door panels.

Power comes from a 3.6-liter engine that can put out as much as 375 horsepower.

According to the German carmaker, the said Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe was built by classic car experts from Porsche Classic for the Porsche Club of America (PCA).

The extensively customized and restored 911 Classic Club Coupe was originally a used 911 Carrera (Type 996) made in 1998.

Alongside the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupe were other rarities from the collection of private owners including a 904 Carrera GTS from 1964, a 962 from 1984, and a 911 SC “Safari” Rally from 1980.
